Indian Futures Trader

How It Started

I didn’t start out planning to be a full-time trader. Like most people, my journey into the markets happened gradually.

I completed my Master’s degree in the U.S. and spent a few years working in the top Banking and Healthcare Firms. The job was stable and the learning was great—but I was always more curious about how markets actually move behind the scenes.

Getting Into the Markets

In 2015, I started investing in U.S. stocks as a long-term investor. Around the same time, I got curious about crypto and became an early investor in Bitcoin and Dogecoin. That phase taught me a lot—patience, risk management, and what volatility really feels like.

Finding My Edge

By 2019, I wanted to understand markets at a deeper level, so I stepped into options and futures trading. After a lot of screen time, trial and error, and learning from mistakes, I found my edge in futures—especially trading the E-mini S&P 500 (/ES) using order flow and tape reading.

I stopped chasing indicators and started focusing on what price and volume were actually telling me in real time.

Going All In

As my trading became more consistent, I made the decision to leave my full-time job and go all in on day trading.

These days, I keep things simple. I trade for about two hours a day, right after the U.S. market opens—when there’s real volume and volatility. Once that’s done, I step away from the screens.

Life Outside Trading

The rest of my time goes into spending time with my family and building side projects around trading, like

My Philosophy

I believe trading doesn’t have to consume your entire life. For me, it’s about being focused, disciplined, and efficient—so the markets support my lifestyle, not the other way around.
